As a writer and editor based on the far edge of Cornwall, I see what I do — each and every part of it — as an act of translation: taking the half-formed, the sensed-but-not-yet-said, and finding for it a precise and living language.

My own writing begins in the small and the daily. The quiet narratives, the body, the landscape, the ordinary moments held up to the light until it yields something true.

I hold a First Class degree in Creative Writing from Falmouth University and am currently at work on a book-length piece of literary non-fiction.

I bring the same quality of attention to the writers and brands I work with. Whether we are finding the voice underneath the words, shaping a piece of writing that has lost its way, or building something from the beginning, I am interested in what lives underneath your words, and in helping it reach the surface.

I believe that the best writing is always a practice — returned to, refined, lived in. If you are looking for someone to be part of that with you, I would love to hear from you.
